Creation of TFL with companies in Argentina, Brazil, Germany (Headquarters), Hong Kong, Italy, Mexico, Switzerland, USA

TFL (Together for Leather) the joint venture between Ciba-Geigy, Röhm and Stockhausen (Degussa-Hüls Group) is transformed into an independent company on 1st January 1996. Thanks to this merger, TFL is able to offer the whole range of products required for the production of leather, from Beamhouse right up to Finishing. TFL starts operating with 350 employees in Germany (headquarters), Switzerland, Italy (including production), USA, Hongkong, Brazil (including production), Argentina and Mexico. TFL Ledertechnik GmbH & Co. is the only chemical company of its size exclusively dedicated to the leather industry, on a worldwide basis.
