On May 3rd 2018 TFL celebrated in its facilities in Castelfranco, Tuscany, Italy, the opening of the new TFL Global Fashion Center. The event hosted over 180 people coming from all over the world; managers of the biggest international tanning groups producing shoe upper and leather goods were present. The new center aims to become the global point of reference for shoe upper and leather goods, where TFL technicians, as well as customers and Brands can meet in order to find out the latest trends in leather fashion and the most innovative chemical technologies complying with all international restrictions and regulations.
In the main show room three leather collections are exposed together with fashion accessories, which will be renewed every 3-6 months. Along with the latest fashion collection available – currently Autumn-Winter 2019/20, the show room also makes a visual impact with an “evergreen” collection and with a “fashion & technology” collection.
During the Opening ceremony the first TFL Global Leather Forum “E-volution E-commerce sheds its skin” took place, a debate on the visibility provided by e-commerce and the business chances offered by this new market to the leather segment and to the tanneries. The forum discussion, directed by the TFL fashion consultant E. Zamponi, hosted important names like Dr. Peter Amann (CEO –TFL Group ), Gianni Russo (UNIC President), Marta Casadei (Journalist at Il Sole 24 Ore), Lars Feldscher (Head Manager Astound DE/IT/ES), Mario Soave (Executive Team and Managing Director Italy Launchmetrics), Gustavo A. Defeo (Director Ars Tinctoria and X-Rite/Pantone distributor), Giuseppe Grandinetti (Global Digital Head Marketing Vibram).
After the forum a catwalk presented shoes and bags produced with TFL Autumn-Winter 2019/20 fashion articles.
The New TFL Global Fashion Centre stands as the starting point for a new era and confirms the still crucial role played by both the Tuscan leather expertise and the international attractiveness of the fashion made in Italy.
