Position purpose:

As a Supply Planning Specialist, you will be supporting the local FG stock replenishment in Germany and ensure an efficient delivery of material to the local market. Depending on the situation around COVID-19, the situation entails around 10% business travel.

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • You will be responsible for securing the correct service and inventory level for a defined group of product
  • You will engage in rough-cut capacity planning of production plants or external contractors (Toller) in SAP
  • You will create and be responsible for replenishment orders
  • You will inform customers regarding material availability
  • You will manage the order of 3rd party customers including confirmation of stock availability and shipment delivery date to CS team
  • You will coordinate the filling, transferring and product labelling with external service providers
  • You will be responsible for the booking of incoming goods & inventory controlling (incl. the processing of slow movers)
  • You will guarantee stable logistic lead-times,
  • You will have Data Governance ownership of the planning-relevant SAP master data
  • You will be responsible for creating the allocation proposal in case of bottleneck to be validated by Sales/Business
  • You will be the first point of contact in the Escalation Management process (be responsible for the material availability),
  • You will be monitoring the expiring dates and coordinate potential follow-up actions accordingly
  • You will coordinate product deletion / replacement (PI-PO) from a supply chain perspective,
  • You will initiate the items extension to different shipping points and define the related supply chain parameters (e.g. source list, info record)
  • You will coordinate airfreight requests in case of urgency
  • You will manage the process of return handlings
  • You will ensure an efficient alignment on the operation activities in the local WH/DC
  • You will collaborate cross-functionally in (SAP) projects

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Planning & Logistic or successfully completed training as an “Industriekaufmann” or comparable
  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures, as well as a profound understanding of logistics
  • 3-5 years of experience in Supply Planning
  • You have outstanding Excel skills and strong SAP skills
  • You have strong communication skills, are flexible and resilient
  • You have strong analytical skills and a proactive personality
  • You are fluent in German and possess good English skills (spoken & written)
  • APICS qualification or similar is a plus
