Position purpose:

The HR IT Project Manager supports HR in delivering business analytic support for the HRIS system operation (ideally Sage) as well as the Time and Attendance system. You will work closely with the internal employees (worldwide) and support teams, stakeholders, outsourcing partners and software suppliers. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing ongoing projects. You will ensure the adherence and continuity of the HRIS following on its introduction and continuously improve TFL’s Human Resources Information System, Business Analyst HR Information System and Time and Attendance system.

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Lead HRIS projects and manage documentation, testing, training, data cleansing, user setup and management, application rollout, etc.
  • Manage HR-IT and HR-Information System related projects with respect to analysis, evaluation, migration and implementation
  • Help to assure a constructive and efficient collaboration with all involved stakeholders
  • Support and advise HR, managers and employees with their questions and train new users
  • Establish business cases and coordinate with HR, IT and Finance if process improvements needtheir involvement
  • Manage system upgrades and related testing, training, information, etc.
  • Analyze and assess the status quo of existing HR IT processes
  • Identify and evaluate demands related to HR processes, systems and/or databases and develop solutions
  • Develop ways of migration and implementation for new HR IT solutions (interface to payroll, time and attendance)
  • Plan, manage, prepare and control the company's personnel management figures
  • Implement financial planning and budget processes within HR (e.g. personnel cost budget, bonuses and merit increases)
  • Participate in the company-wide budget and forecast planning as well as in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Provide meaningful HR reports, analysis and ad-hoc evaluations
  • Implement and maintain HR reporting and the analysis of HR-related KPIs (e.g. in the context of dashboards and scorecards)
  • Function as the global point of contact for all issues related to Sage
  • Function as the interface between HR and IT


  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration, HR, IT or equivalent experience
  • At least 3-5+ years of combined experience in the domain of IT and or HR, preferably with HRIS (e.g. Sage, Workday)
  • Experience in at least one HR implementation as a Business Analyst (e.g. Sage, Workday)
  • HR Process and/or IT Architecture knowledge preferred but not a must
  • Experience in project management and in leading interdisciplinary teams
  • Experience in Change Management is desired but not a must
  • Fluent verbal and written communication in English & German
  • Advanced analytical, conceptually, organizational and communication skills and ability to work independently
  • High resilience, sense of diplomacy, proactive flexible mindset
  • Team player and enthusiasm to work in a global environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with Agile Ways of Working when managing projects
