TFL Application Centre China
On October 18th, 2004, the Application Centre China (ACC) started its business. The centre occupies an area of 2000 square meters, provides all the facilities for leather making, and test equipment for leather in common use. The centre supports TFL customers with technical service, scientific R&D, leather testing and practical training on specific articles.
The Haining and Tongxiang districts have gradually grown into the center of leather industry in China and there are manifold companies producing leather for garment, upholstery ,shoe upper, automotive and fur segment. In order to support the development of local leather enterprises, TFL has established the Application Centre China in Tongxiang city, Zhejiang province. In this way, we hope to contribute to the expansion of local enterprises, especially with support in technical questions.
ACC has introduced the most advanced Italian equipment and hosts a lot of seasonal technicians. We provide the tanning industry of China competitive high-quality chemicals, advanced tanning processing philosophy and technology, and internationally fashionable article trends.
We will also make full use of the resources of the Centre to participate in the development and cooperation of scientific research projects. We signed agreements with domestically famous tanning enterprises on the development of chrome-free automotive leather. Furthermore, we collaborate with famous enterprises to develop innovation projects, e.g. hair-saving liming technology, environmental friendly products or high absorption chrome-tanning.
ACC has a lot of equipment in order to test the physical chemistry capability of the leather in common use. In addition, of course also other tests such as dynamic waterproof, washable properties, 3M test, etc. For further information please contact Max Cui.
Considering the increasing importance of the southern region of China in the leather market, TFL opened in 2007 an additional service laboratory in Guangzhou. The aim of the centre is to particularly support the shoe customers that are located in this area. The laboratory comprises all wet-end and finishing state-of-the-art equipment in order to provide its local customers a better and more efficient service.
