On 19th July 2012, Mauro Magnaguagno, Director of the TFL Academy in Montebello (VI), Italy was recognised by the University of Northampton with an Honorary Doctorate for developing a wider relationship with ICLT, UoN’s Institute for Creative Leather Technologies.

For the last 11 years TFL and the University of Northampton have worked together. In May 2012, some students of the University together with some students from the local Arzignano tannery school, ITIS G.
